Serial server is a 2 serial ports develope by Shanghai ZLAN Information Technology Co., LTD Protocol converter between RS232/485/422 and TCP/IP. ZLAN5240 supports Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU. The ZLAN5243A supports two RS232 serial ports and two RS422/485 serial ports, which are connecte to the ZLAN5243A through one network cable to enable the two serial ports to work in full duplex at the same time. The RS485 port is a green wiring terminal port, and the RS232/RS485 port is an RJ45 port. Another 5243A is provide with an additional Ethernet interface, which can use as a switch or cascade. The ZLAN5243A supports four serial ports, six serial ports, and eight serial ports. 5243A provides two kinds of power source access mode: power socket and wiring terminal, wide voltage range, and provides housing wiring protection.
