For insulation and protection, TPO current transformers cast in hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (HCEP),
which ensures excellent resistance to outdoor environmental conditions.
HCEP provides superior resistance to arc tracking, ozone,
and ultraviolet radiation, while maintaining high mechanical strength.
The hydrophobic surface properties of HCEP contribute to highly reliable performance in wet or humid environments.
TPO transformers are designe as single- or multiple-turn transformers,
with a single transformation ratio. If required, they can made reconnectable on the primary or secondary side.
The number of secondary windings ranges from 1 to 4 (typically 2),
depending on parameters such as accuracy class, short-circuit current overcurrent factor, burden etc..
